Meat And Egg Loaf

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 340 g minced beef
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree
  • pepper
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch thyme
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pinch allspice
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 hard-boiled egg

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 190°c put all the ingredients in a bowl, except the hard-boiled egg, and mix until combined.
  • 2 shape the meat mixture into a flat rectangle and place the hard boiled egg in the centre. roll the meat around the egg, using your fingers. place in a small 1lb loaf tin, cover with foil and cook for a further 10 minutes to brown the top.
  • 3 serve hot with green vegetables of your choice or cold with a large mixed salad.
