The Perfect Hamburgers For Two

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh coarse ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 1. prepare grill for medium-high (350 to 400 degrees) direct heat.
  • 2 2. using hands, gently combine beef, salt, and pepper. shape into 2 (4-inch-wide) patties. using thumb and forefinger, lightly press middle of patties, creating an indentation in center of patties. let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
  • 3 3. grill, covered with grill lid, to desired degree of doneness. (see chart at right for times.) remove from grill, and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
