Sour Cream Cheese Puffs

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 40
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped red pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 24 ounces refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (2 tubes)

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, red pepper,onion, lemon juice, dill and pepper.
  • 2 cut each biscuit in half horizontally, press into greased miniature muffin tins.
  • 3 place a rounded tablespoon of cream cheese mixture in each cup.
  • 4 bake at 375ºf for 14-16 minutes until golden brown.
  • 5 sprinkle with cilantro and serve immediately.
