- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup evaporated milk
Recipe
- mix together pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and molasses. blend in eggs and evaporated milk. pour filling into pie shell.
- bake at 425 degrees f (220 degrees c) for 40 minutes, or until set.
