Stuffed Mushrooms

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 lbs fresh mushrooms
  • 1 (6 ounce) package chicken stove top stuffing mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • cooking spray

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350* degrees.
  • 2 pull the stems out of the mushrooms; then clean mushroom caps and stems in cold water and let drain in strainer. place caps on a paper towel and dice stems.
  • 3 in microwave proof mixing bowl, add stuffing mix, diced stems and beef broth. stir until broth is incorporated throughout. place in microwave on high for 2 minutes. then add the stick of butter and microwave until butter is almost completely melted about 1 minute.
  • 4 remove from microwave and stir until butter is completely mixed through.
  • 5 lightly spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray, taking a spoon over fill each mushroom cap until each one has a nice dome on top.
  • 6 place in oven and bake for 20 to 30 minutes depending on the size of the mushrooms and your oven.
  • 7 when done let them cool for about 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before placing the mushrooms on the serving tray. enjoy!
