Quick Raspberry Trifle

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (16 ounce) package lady fingers pound cake, cut into 18 inch slices
  • 2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 (18 ounce) jar raspberry jam
  • 2 pints fresh raspberries
  • 1 (16 ounce) container whipped cream

Recipe

  • 1 prepare pudding according to package directions.
  • 2 arrange a third of the ladyfingers on the bottom of a trifle dish or large clear or decorated bowl.
  • 3 set another third of the ladyfingers around the inside standing edge of the dish, using half of the pudding to keep them standing upright.
  • 4 gently combine the jam and half of the fresh raspberries. spoon half of the jam and berry mixture over the pudding.
  • 5 layer with the remaining cake, then pudding, then raspberry mixture on top.
  • 6 chill.
  • 7 garnish with whipped cream and remaining fresh raspberries.
