Ingredients

- 1 envelope dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 1/2-3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 -1 1/2 teaspoon oregano (preferably mediterranean)
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle yeast with sugar over milk and water in a small bowl and proof until foamy, about 10-15 minutes.
- 2 combine flour and salt in a large bowl, make a well in the center and add yeast mixture.
- 3 blend flour into yeast mixture and knead about 15 minutes, until dough is smooth and elastic.
