Hot Roll Moravian Sugar Cake

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package hot roll mix
- 3/4 cup warm water (105* to 115*)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup instant nonfat dry milk powder
- 1/3 cup mashed potato flakes
- 1/3 cup margarine or 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Recipe
- 1 grease 13x9-inch pan.
- 2 in a large bowl, dissolve yeast from hot roll mix in warm water.
- 3 stir in half of flour from hot roll mix and remaining ingredients; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
- 4 stir in remaining flour from hot roll mix; beat well.
- 5 cover loolely with plastic wrap and cloth until light and doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
- 6 stir down dough; spread in prepared pan.
- 7 cover; let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
- 8 heat oven to 375*.
- 9 make small pockets in dough by pressing lightly with floured fingertip.
- 10 sprinkle brown sugar-cinnamin mixture over dough.
- 11 drizzle with melted margarine; sprinkle with nuts.
- 12 bake at 375* for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
