Rumaki Polynesian

Total Time: 1 hr 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 2 (7 ounce) cans water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 (14 ounce) bottle ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • soy sauce, to taste
  • hot sauce, to taste
  • 1/2-1 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 cut the bacon slices into halves.
  • 2 wrap the water chestnuts with the bacon pieces; secure with wooden picks.
  • 3 place in a shallow 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • 4 bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; drain.
  • 5 combine the ketchup, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, hot sauce and sugar in a bowl; mix well.
  • 6 pour over the water chestnuts.
  • 7 bake for 30 minutes longer.
