Sauerkraut Balls

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 jar sauerkraut
  • 1 lb bob evans hot sausage
  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup progresso italian breadcrumbs
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 drain sauerkraut and chop.
  • 2 mix with lamb, beef, onion, parsley, seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • 3 fry till meat is browned.
  • 4 remove from heat and stir in bread crumbs add 2 eggs and mix well.
  • 5 let cool.
  • 6 form into balls beat 1 egg and milk together.
  • 7 dip into milk mixture then crumb mixture and fry till golden brown.
