Southern Comfort Balls!

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 3 cups vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped fine
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons light karo syrup
  • 2 1/3 tablespoons dark cocoa, special dark
  • 1/2 cup southern comfort
  • powdered sugar, for coating the cookies
  • colored crystal sugar, for coating the cookies

Recipe

  • 1 place wafers and pecans in food processor and pulse till crumbly.
  • 2 add the next 4 ingredients and pulse till smooth.
  • 3 shape into balls about 1 inch in diameter. using wet hands and cool kitchen so they don`t stick and for easy handling.
  • 4 roll in powdered sugar and chill.
  • 5 or if this method works for you try keeping finger and palms dusted with sugar while shaping cookies.
  • 6 better if stored in an air tight container for at least a week!
