Stuffed Mushrooms

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 12 large mushroom caps
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup diced italian sausage
  • 1/2 minced garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup cracker crumb
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons minced parsley
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 dash salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 wash mushrooms.
  • 2 remove and chop stems.
  • 3 set mushroom caps aside.
  • 4 in skillet, combine chopped stems, butter, onion, sausage and garlic.
  • 5 cook on high for 2-3 minutes stir occasionally.
  • 6 remove from heat and add cracker crumbs, cheese, parsley, oregano and salt and pepper, stir to blend.
  • 7 mound mixture in mushroom caps and place in pyrex baking dish.
  • 8 place in microwave and cook covered on high for 4 minutes or until hot.
