Traditional Shortbread

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 36
  • 375 g cake flour
  • 250 g butter
  • 125 g caster sugar
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugar.
  • 2 sift dry ingredients and work into mixture til smooth but not greasy.
  • 3 press into ungreased pan.
  • 4 dough must be about 1 cm in thickness.
