Old Fashioned Macaroon Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 1 pint milk
  • 1/4 lb macaroons
  • 1/4 lb ladyfinger
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pint whipping cream, unwhipped

Recipe

  • 1 scald the milk in a double boiler. add remaining ingredients, except cream, and mash. add cream and mix well. pour into 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan and freeze.
