Scotch Jam & Cheese Pastries

Ingredients
- 1 package cream cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cream
- 1/2 cup jam or 1/2 cup marmalade
- 1 egg, well beaten
- confectioners' sugar
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees f.
- 2 cream softened butter and cream cheese.
- 3 sift in flour and work in to butter mixture.
- 4 add cream and mix well.
- 5 on floured board, roll out to 1/4 inch thick.
- 6 cut out into 4 inch rounds.
- 7 wet edges w/ cold water.
- 8 put a tsp.
- 9 of jam in center.
- 10 fold over and press together.
- 11 place on greased baking sheet.
- 12 brush pastries with egg wash.
- 13 sprinkle w/ confectioners sugar.
- 14 bake 15 minutes.
