Scotch Jam & Cheese Pastries

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons cream
  • 1/2 cup jam or 1/2 cup marmalade
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • confectioners' sugar

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees f.
  • 2 cream softened butter and cream cheese.
  • 3 sift in flour and work in to butter mixture.
  • 4 add cream and mix well.
  • 5 on floured board, roll out to 1/4 inch thick.
  • 6 cut out into 4 inch rounds.
  • 7 wet edges w/ cold water.
  • 8 put a tsp.
  • 9 of jam in center.
  • 10 fold over and press together.
  • 11 place on greased baking sheet.
  • 12 brush pastries with egg wash.
  • 13 sprinkle w/ confectioners sugar.
  • 14 bake 15 minutes.
