Tagen (ramadan Recipe For Iftar)

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 50 g grilled hamour fish
  • 50 g tahini paste
  • 40 g onions
  • 5 g garlic
  • 20 ml lemon juice
  • 10 ml orange juice
  • 2 g salt
  • 1 g cumin seed
  • 1 g pepper
  • 20 g oil
  • 2 g pine nuts
  • 100 ml cold water
  • 20 ml olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 mix the tahina paste with cold water in a bowl.
  • 2 add salt, cumin seeds, lemon juice, orange juice, pepper and salt.
  • 3 mix well and keep aside.
  • 4 heat oil in a skillet.
  • 5 add garlic and 20gms of onion.
  • 6 stir-fry until brown.
  • 7 add the tahina mix and keep boiling on low flame until well cooked.
  • 8 allow to cool.
  • 9 when it cools, arrange the grilled fish on the mix and top it with fried onions and pine nuts.
  • 10 serve hot.
