Grandma's Caramel Corn

Ingredients

- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 6 quarts popped popcorn
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 melt the butter in a medium saucepan.
- 2 add sugar, corn syrup and salt.
- 3 bring the mixture to a boil and then add soda and vanilla.
- 4 pour over popcorn.
- 5 place on 2 (12x20) baking sheets.
- 6 bake at 250 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- 7 store in an airtight container.
