Peanut Butter Fingers

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsel (6 ounces)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 -4 tablespoons milk
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
- 3 blend in egg, 1/3 cup peanut butter, soda, salt, and vanilla.
- 4 add flour and oats; mix well.
- 5 spread in buttered 13-inch by 9-inch inch pan.
- 6 bake 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly browned.
- 7 sprinkle immediately with chocolate morsels.
- 8 let stand 5 minutes to melt; spread chocolate over cookie crust.
- 9 combine powdered sugar, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and enough milk to make a drizzling consistency.
- 10 mix well.
- 11 drizzle evenly over bars.
