Total Time: 3 hrs
Preparation Time: 3 hrs
Ingredients
- 3 (3 ounce) boxes jello berry blue gelatin mix
- 3/4 cup green grape, washed
- 3/4 cup blueberries, washed
- 1/2-1 cup gummy fish (you can use a mixture with gummy sharks or frogs)
Recipe
- 1 prepare 3 packages of jell-o gelatin in a large bowl as directed. refrigerate for 2 hours or until jell-o is partially set, but still a little "liquidy".
- 2 clean a new 1/2 gallon glass fish bowl, preferably the kind that is flat on the front and back.
- 3 add grapes and blueberries to bottom of fish bowl, spread evenly.
- 4 layer gelatin and gummy fish. you can poke gummies down with a spoon or your fingers to look as though they are randomly swimming in the water.
- 5 refrigerate 1/2 hour until better set.
- 6 display fish bowl with flashlight propped behind it to better see the display of fish.
- 7 when ready to serve, you can use a washed new fish net to scoop the fish and fruit out, along with the jell-o. some kids might think this step is "gross", so make sure that your kids are ok with it.
