Pita Pizzas

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1 whole wheat pita bread
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fruity extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 button mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 of a small garlic clove, minced
  • 1 -2 tablespoon crumbled feta cheese or 1 -2 tablespoon shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh italian parsley, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees f.
  • 2 place pita bread on a baking pan or pizza stone.
  • 3 drizzle with olive oil.
  • 4 top with toppings in order given.
  • 5 bake for 5-10 minutes depending on crispness desired.
  • 6 enjoy!
