Spicy Hot Dogs

Ingredients

• Servings: 8
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1 tablespoon oil
• 1 1/4 cups hot ketchup
• 2 tablespoons pickle relish
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 dash pepper
• 8 hot dogs
• 8 hot dog buns, toasted

Recipe

• 1 cook onions in oil until tender.
• 2 stir in remaining ingredients except the hot dogs and buns.
• 3 score dogs lengthwise and add to sauce.
• 4 simmer 10 minutes.
• 5 serve on toasted buns with your choice of condiments if desired.
